Greetings. Creative Writing is a vocation, a calling. Some may call it craft, a skill learned and applied like any trade. Others believe it is a gift, a talent  that one needs only to tap into. I have been on the path of writing since my earliest days when I herded all the neighbour kids into a roped-off area. My recruited friends would recite my nursery rhymes and stage adventure drama. I remember earning a crisp 5-dollar bill for an essay contest in Grade 4. However, writing never comes easy. Finding words is often tedious and syntax difficult. What makes a writer want to struggle with spelling, metaphor, and the run-on sentence? The answer is simply that she is compelled.

Each of us is a voice upon the wind. Enter and sample my works and the writings of friends and associates. The setting for poetry & prose extends from the windy shoreline of Kootenay Lake, B.C. to the chinook corridor  of Crowsnest Pass, Alberta. Join in, submissions are welcome.

In Harmony,
